FractalVerse
Privacy Policy
Effective June 2026 · Operated by Leema LLC
FractalVerse is an interactive reader for public-domain works of literature, operated by Leema LLC (“we,” “us”). This policy explains, in plain language, exactly what we collect, why, and what we do not do. We have tried to keep it honest and specific to how the app actually works rather than relying on generic boilerplate.
What we collect
We collect only what we need to run your account and the reader:
- Account information. When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email address from that provider. We use them to create your profile and to identify you when you return. We do not receive your password.
- Reading progress. We store which work and section you are reading so your place syncs across your devices.
- Profile details. A public handle and an optional short bio that you choose. These are visible to others on your public profile page.
- Aggregate analytics. The site uses Vercel Analytics and PostHog to understand usage in aggregate — page views and which features are used (for example, opening a visualization or navigating between works). This helps us improve the reader. We do not use it to build advertising profiles.
What we don't do
- We do not sell your personal data.
- We do not show ads.
- We do not charge you for the texts — the literary works presented are in the public domain in the United States.
How your data is stored
Authentication and data storage are handled by Supabase. Your account information, profile, and reading progress are stored in a Supabase-hosted PostgreSQL database located in the United States. Sign-in is performed through Google or Apple OAuth via Supabase Auth; we never see or store your provider password.
Cookies and sessions
When you sign in, we set a session cookie so that you stay signed in as you move between pages. This cookie is necessary for the account features to work. You can clear it at any time by signing out or clearing your browser data.
Deleting your account
You can ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing privacy@fractalverse.ai. When we delete your account, we remove your profile (name, email, handle, and bio) and your stored reading progress. Deletion cascades across these records and cannot be undone.
Children
FractalVerse is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. When we make a material change, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of FractalVerse after a change means you accept the updated policy.
